This house was designed as a comfortable retreat from the hot summer sun, with open plan spacious living areas and extensive glazing to make the most of the view of the lake and the cool breezes. The intention was to give the building a very sculptured look and this is evident in the wing shaped form of the roof. There are extensive ponds which run around the exterior and also thorugh the house thereby creating a tranquil and cooling effect.
