All apartments at The Grid face north and all lift lobby areas receive natural light.
The Grid uses an old Middle Eastern technology of the thermal chimney, an 8-storey glass tube that reaches through the core of the building, funnelling hot air out the top while drawing up cool, moist air from ponds in the lobby
