From a pared back building in rozelle Sydney, Tetsuya (French-trained Japanese restauranteur) has over the past decade established an international reputation for fine food.
As demand picked up Tetsuya needed to move to bigger premises - the old Suntory in the city.
Atmosphere was important
The result is a meld between australian and japanes art.
May and Swan brought the old restaurant colours/ palettes with them from Rozelle to the new city restaurant- ie the subtle wall and carpet colours and black leather are replicated here.
