This new facility covers 12,000 sq mtrs with separate staff cafeteria, and dining facilities, linked to manufacturing and research facilities.
The design challenge was to create a functional design that would be suitable for expansion and division for sub tenants. The master plan allows for a possible doubling of the office space.
The new building consists of a linear block in its form in 2 parts, with tinted glazing and steel-panelled construction. Repeated elements are broken up by a transparent link.
Inside the building, the floor plan is based on a central spine of flexible enclosed space, with workstations running out to the perimeter, arranged in team clusters.
