The conversion added a floor with bedrooms to the original single-story house. The large space left over on the ground floor was used to enlarge the living room and create a studio. The different parts of the interior are reached by a large double-height space above the dining room; this cavity also serves as an inner courtyard, creating an interio, landscape that gives on to the bedrooms and providing them with openings protected from the hubbub of the city.
