A central volume containing the main dining and living areas is wedged inside 2 slightly splayed wings.
This wedge shape is a motif for the whole house, down to the detailing , often used humorously to counterpoint any potential over-statement.
A magnificent harbour view is available from most vantage points however from the rer courtyard it is amazingly framed by the double height living area space.
The house balances a sense of monument with a mood of informality.
