The spaces in which he lives and works define the Morrissey style; they are fluid, contemporay, radical, elemental and always fun. His new shops, studio and home sit comfortably with the image he has created with his clothes.
The look of his interiors is contemporary because the material are natural, and the shpaes clean.
It is warm as well thorugh the use of plenty plenty of pure wool upholstery and a flourish of fake fur , set alonside wraparound carpet.
When the door of this penthouse apartment opens, you enter a deeply glamorous double height space - overlooked by a massive Andy Warhol print.
The entire apartment turns on this one central room with its glass-top table and chairs upholstered in leather.
The apartment is divided seamlessly between the communal spaces and the private spaces.
His white design studio , in the industrial neighbourhood of Alexandria, is stright out of a James Bond set. It is the "ofice you would dream about - looking like a modern departure lounge.
The final design shows the "Morrissey " brand to the fullest eg loud and clear white neon sign at reception.
Behind the elongated reception area is a flexible open-plan work space which spills onto a narrow strip of workstations and Morrissey's office. Abandoning such obvious symbols of convention as fixed dopors, the design is eternally contemporary and yet its jet set apearance radiates friendliness.
