Form Follows Function are collaborating with architect Eugene Marchese on the exterior of the building, but are designing the interior themselves.
The new building is a sleek lined apartment block, with windows for residents to enjoy the stunning harbour views. The exterior is darkly coloured, with contrasting lush glass mosaics. Balconies and large expanses of glass also adorn the block, setting it apart from the surrounding buildings.
The block is not only residential, but houses retail and commercial space as well as a gym. The block even has its very own magazine, so potential buyers can discover the essence of the East Sydney atmosphere.
Perspex and aluminium sliding doors allow changeable room layouts and maximise the useability of the space available. Natural light from the floor to ceiling windows is amplified through mirrored storage spaces and kitchen splashbacks
