PROJECTS IN SYDNEY

PROJECTS PHOTOGRAPHED BY ANSON SMART

This is low key Sydney Style.

Un-presupposing from the outside ; beautifully extravagant the further inside you venture.

The bistro at the front is all light, bright and airy, with folding windows that let the space flow seamlessly out to the street.

The back bar is a study in pared-back chic, with muted colours and flattering lighting.

The 2 spaces are divided by a massive sliding door thereby creating 2 different worlds - The Light side and the Dark side.

This is an intimate and more understated project unlike the Hemmes previous venture 'Establishment'

The bar space itself is small fitting only about 25 people. The style is post modern meets morrocan chic !

The bar area features include a back lit onyx bench and snake skinned embossed walls.

The brasserie-style bistro in the front is a clean, light space with white slab tables fitted tightly in. A padded bench runs the full wall length. The lighting is tarck mounted wall washers down the bench side, with oversized hanging lights above the tables.

Everything is functional eg blackboard wall on a sliding track
