Located many floors up in a high rise apartment building in central Sydney, the Jackson Apartment is a serene and elegant pod from which to observe the seething metropolis.
The roads, railway lines, nearby skyscrapers, harbour vessels and the scuttling populace below produce a colourful. And invigorating backdrop that can either be engaged with (one edge of the apartment forms an indoor observation deck) or ignored.
Stanic Harding Architects orchestrated a new interior fitout to ensure both possibilities, with an approach that both celebrates the vibrant urban context and allows instant escape from it.
