PROJECTS IN SYDNEY

PROJECTS PHOTOGRAPHED BY GIORGIO POSSENTI

The house is characterised by a large glazed facade overlooking a small garden, which looks towards a small design studio.

The house is like a flexible set, to be reinvented on a daily basis, in keeping with a single motive - the pleasure of things.

This focus on the joy of objects has alos involved Brian Kiernan for the recovery and restoration of furnishings from the 1950's, 60's and 70's.

The industrial character of the building is underlined by the materials utilised eg aluminium, cement, blackbutt wood, galvanised steel.

The fluidity of the spatial construction is accentuated on all the levels by the new central service block, illuminated with louvres , around which the spaces are freely organised.
