Clients step directly from the lifts into the 3rd floor foyer from where the entire floor space is visible .
Wherever there were obstacles Hassells attempted to make them as transparent as possible.
It was important to reinforce the principles of collaboration which are the lifeforce of the firm and to make the environment both friendly and conducive to creativity.
A "street" of recycled rubber runs the length of the floor, dividing the space as well as providing access to 2 outdoor terraces at each end.
7 transparent glass boxes punctuate the space and are used as meeting rooms.
Glass is the new whiteboard here, with sketches scrawled on the boardroom wall, a memento of the last meeting.
