Marging two apartments into one, the project represents the delicate fusion of architecture, interiors and product design, a particular interest of Smart Design Studio.
Our commission extented from major structural works to designing furniture, custom rugs, bespoke joinery even the signature halo light fitting.
The new interior brends effortlessly with great bones of this 1950s modernist building, visible from inside the unit from the timber window frames, expressed structure and balcony overlooking Sydney Harbour.
It was the age and bones of this building,Oceana, that was the source of inspiration for the new design.
