Gaden Lawyers have recently relocated to their new corporate office on Level 24 and 25 of the Commonwealth Bank Building in Brisbane. Following the merger between Gadens and Bowdens, the new office, over 2000 Sq metres symbolises a revitalised and progressive law firm.
The branding for Gadens has been maintained through the incorporation of light filled, crisp and elegant spaces. Unique to Level 25 of the Commonwealth Bank Building are the expansive views from the lift lobby through reception and meeting rooms. This was achieved by demolishing the base building core toilets.
Other key areas include the staff breakout/training areas that are linked by a internal stair. With an emphasis on an envionment that encourgaes social interaction, these spaces also support informal meetings. The simplicity of the fit-out as a backdrop allows the Gadens art collection to make a strong statement.
The general office accomodation consist of internal and perimeter offices of a standard size, workstations with low screens, and low storage. A sense of openness and the penetration of natural light influenced the selection of materials
