Federation Square |
The project of Federation Square as a collaboration between Lab Architects and Bates Smart is an excersise in the unconventional use of space as the fractal façade suggests. The interior lends itself to comparisons of telescopes and shattered glass. The project co-director Donald Bates is a student of Daniel Libeskind who recently won the World Trade Center re-build in new York.
