A series of space for a graphic design company situated in a former church meeting hall in Melbourne.
The spaces are not overly opulent and maintain the heritage of teh structure however they do represent a synthesis of materials, thinking and detail by the designer and client.
A series of carefuly crafted spaces have been constructed despite modest means.
The original building was built in 1890.
Using careful architectural planning and design the architect was able to creat an office environment which in itself is a fine example of spatial design.
Between the spaces there is a subtle yet clear gradation between the corporate image of the entrance foyer, the meeting areas, the administrative areas and the studio mezzanine area. Whilst structured for workflow there is an open transperancy between the spaces .
