The theme of grey on grey set the tone for the house, only the material textures of the objects would differentiating forms. The scheme developed into a simple composition of 2 bedroom boxes (one clad in lightwieght aluminium sheeting , the other clad in cement sheeting ) perched atop a longer and larger living area box in a textured split paver.
Colour (or lack of it) was essential to creating a sense of exaggerates space as well as for the creation of calm within the space. A perfect blank canvas on which the owner can easily place their signature. In the end it is "what is not there" that makes the most powerful design statement.
