The narrow three metre entry is compressed between converging walls before expanding past the dining space to the courtyard beyond. Distorted around t he irregular courtyard, the wedge shaped house presents the eye with continuously overlapping spaces. The courtyard becomes the third living space and connects both levels of house through a soaring void that draws the living space up either side of a glass wall to a loft space that perches high above.
Natural light is harnessed and a sense of space is cultivated in this eminently competent solution to an unusual site - all finished with deft detailing to complete another standout for Subi-Centro.
