PROJECTS IN BOMBALA

PROJECTS PHOTOGRAPHED BY ROSS HONEYSETT

This stark metal box house on the outskirts of Bombala, NSW pays homage to the architectural vision of Glenn Murcutt, James Grose and Phillip Johnson. The house itself is two cube alligned together but facing in opposite directions thus providing grand sweeping views across the bush. The interior plan is alarmingly basic without the use of internal partitions the architect allows the space to be used in unclustered ways. By using elements in their most basic form the function of the house is easy and hassel free.
