A revamp of the restaurant was needed to create a fuller dining experience for this famous sydney landmark.
The restaurant occupies the southern most "sail" of the Sydney Opera House. Architect Lee Prentice stripped all fittings out and went back to using the beauty of the shell , designed by Utzon highlighting the beauty of the structure as the principal design goal
Dining was developed on different podium levels with the central bar acting as the pivot point for service and mood.
Lighting was blended into the fabric of the shell with upturned artichokes being used in a dramatic manner

Bennelong at the Sydney Opera House is one of Sydney's most beautiful restaurants with breathtaking views of the city and Harbour from every table on the lower level and the cocktail bar. They embrace the philosophy of "accessibility for patrons of the arts, fine dining and the Sydney Experience.
