The block slopes over two metres form south to north with views over Lake Monger to the north. In form, the house has been designed as a "heavy" limestone, two storey element with a curved roof, "anchored" to the high point of the site. A lighter, flat roof element cantilevers over the lower side of the site. The garage is entered from the lower side of the site under the cantilever and the garage door is hidden from the street (a client request). Living spaces are located on the gound level opening on to outdoor terraces. Bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the upper level. Major spaces have been orientated to receive northern light and to take advantage of the view over Lake Monger. A restrained palette of materials and colour complements the simplicity of the buildings forms.
