When entering the new open work environment of Architektonic it is obvious that the scheme represents a physical manifestation of the firm's ideologies and business objectives. This architectural and facilities management practice has looked to new Flinders Street accommodation for expansion and an opportunity to express its business philosophies through the design of its new workplace.

"The fitout is fresh, unique, responsive, functional, aesthetically pleasing and cost effective - and showcases what we offer clients," expressed Joburt Betadam of Architektonic.

Establishing a coherent and functional design involved a collective effort with creative input from staff, spearheaded by Joburt Betadam.

"The facility brief grew from a clear set of business principles predicated on growth with a specific focus for the next five-year period.
Our business philosophy is to deliver the best possible service to our clients.


The workplace design is a humanistic approach that aims to meet the needs of occupants at every level of the organisation, affirming a high value towards staff and their work performance. The resultant design forms an open work environment conducive to egalitarian notions, representing the architectural practice of the future, today
