Iain Halliday of Burley Katon Halliday, moved into a terrace in Darlinghurst (1989).
The ensuing renovations paid homage to, and readdressed, the 70's aesthetic.
Halliday decided to ignore the introverted, standard format of the Voctorian terrace (2 small, boxy rooms on each of the 2 floors) and gutted both levels, created 2 elongated spaces.
