INTRODUCTION

Ascot Area rug is produced with the hand tufting technique.The floral and geometric patterns are placed with different rotations on the rug’s surface, and are created with bouclé stitches executed with wool braids. The stitches are tufted at the same level of the wool background, which is the same colour of the design.
