INTRODUCTION

The Kauri rug is hand woven and hand finished. The texture is created with the polyester tubular knit Chain woven on a cotton weft. The weft sides are finished with a cotton fringe. The positioning of Chain knit, which rotates on itself during weaving, makes each piece unique. Kauri rug can be produced in custom dimensions up to a maximum width of cm.400 and a maximum length of cm.550. Only one colour can be chosen. Materials and production technique advise against the use of this rug in high traffic areas.

The irregularity of the plisse, which varies across the weave, and the chromatic iridescence of the textile, creates a unique and unrepeatable textural aesthetic.

Natural rugs are made with different techniques and materials. Cords, braids, knitted tubular fabrics, conceived by Paola Lenti and produced exclusively for the Brand, are loom woven, hand tufted or simply sewn, to create rugs and mats which are unique for their aesthetics, chromatic effect and functionality.

A contemporary interpretation of classics which becomes new and unprecedented thanks to the quality of the materials. Resistant to light and long lasting, Natural rugs are available in several colours, also in custom dimensions.
