INTRODUCTION
Born in Milan in 1948, Patrizia Cagliani graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1972 as part of a research team led by Aldo Rossi.
Between 1973 and 1986 she worked with Francesco Ridolfi, producing numerous designs for the interiors of homes and offices.
In 1986 she opened her own practice in Milan, still working in interior design and the restructuring of apartments, offices and professional workplaces in Milan, farm buildings and villas in Lombardy, Tuscany, Piedmont and Liguria.
She works with De Padova both on projects for apartments and product designs (the Asseman bed, in production since 1983).
Her work has been published in numerous magazines of furnishings and in the following books on design:
