INTRODUCTION

I was born on 27 March 1969 in Zurich (Switzerland) and I've always lived in this city, which I recommend to everyone. Not just because it's beautiful, especially in summer, but also because it's full of life: sparkling parties (till dawn), beautiful women, excellent music.

I know design well and appreciate many designers. But I admire even more (to name just a few, the strictly necessary) Voltaire, Max Frisch, Hans Magnus Enzensberger, Constantin Brancusi.

If I design furniture in future, I'd like to go beyond "minimal design", all too much in vogue for many years. Perhaps I'll succeed.
